• Peugeot 407 or Citroen C5 21 Feb 2005 (Forum)
  Therefore, having done a lot of research, I have narrowed down to 3, and there are pros and cons of each. Your opinions would be appreciated, especially if there are Peugeot 407 - best looker, but we have the biggest speed bumps in the world and I'd hate to spend 18k on a car and find I can't get it up my street. Have any other owners had trouble with the long low front overhang?

  Hi John, I dont mean to bother but, since theres a channel of communication i thought i might give it a try ;)   Ive bought a Peugeot 207 1.6 automatic, Petrol, 2009 last year, and at start, car was a dream. With 1-2 months of use, i had to replace brake discs. Not sure that was the reason but, then, my computer panel started to show a msg saying "ABS Anomaly".

  Bought the in Feb 2011 car as a 1 year old from a main Peugeot dealer in Coventry,  drove it abot 8000 miles 2011 to 2012,  and about another 4000 miles since,  22000 on the clock A few weeks after buying it, car lost power and "anti pollution system failure" message showed.

  Left idling about 3 mins, cut out. Still struggles to start. I have ran out of things to check and refuse to pay peugeot loads of money for them to tell me they dont know whats wrong. Any ideas would be very welcome. Cheers

  (better the devil you know and all that). I bought it 2.5 years ago with 98,000 on it for £4500... Peugeot 406 2.1td GLX 110hp Diesel. 190,000 Miles 1997/R Reg 4 Door, Saloon. White. Used daily on 140+ mile commute. (Motorway). Excellent "mile muncher" with great handling for a "large" car. 1 year Tax 1 Year MOT. 1 former fleet owner - full Peugeot service history.

  I own a Peugeot 306 1.6 XS (96N). I was wondering if anyone could help to identify a noise that appears to come from the front of the car. The noise occurs when turning at slow speed with about 3/4 lock or more applied while accelerating (eg car parks, mini roundabouts, etc.
