  Also the windows no longer open, the wing mirrors don`t respond and the filler cap won`t unlock. Has anyone out there had experience of this? The Audi Centre said "Well it`s driveable". Until it needs diesel that is.

  I'm looking at buying a 3 yr old diesel, probably a 1.9TDi Audi or 525d BMW with circa 30,000 to 40,000 miles on the clock. Apart from Climate Control I'm relaxed about spec. and intend to keep it for 2 - 3 yrs. I do about 25k per annum. Any thoughts on the conparison between running costs for the two cars?

  Hello. I own a Audi A3 Sportback hybrid . Hope I am posting in the right section. After realizing that I was having issues with the charger ( error e-140 and 470) as is not connecting to the car. this morning the car will turn on but not move at all in any gear.

  VW Audi Service Schedules now quote two different Timing Belt intervals for each car.  In the case of my A5 2.0 TDi the interval is 120,000 miles if the vehicle is designated as 'fleet' i.e. if VW Financial Services are contracted to pay for the maintenance, or only 75,000 miles if it is designated as 'retail' i.e. if you or I are paying dealer for the work.

  I recently bought an 18 month old 2.0 TDI 140 PS A4 Avant Multitronic from an Audi main dealer. Combined cycle consumption published by Audi and the Vehicle Certification Agency (http://www.vcacarfueldata.org.uk/) for this car is 45.6 mpg (emissions 164 g/km). Driving like a monk on A roads I can't get it over 40 mpg!

I Purchased an Audi A1 1.4 TFSI Sport Brand new from an Audi Dealer on the 22nd of November 2011. Since the 15th of December onwards a number of problems have been present with the vehicle and the car has now been in on the following occasions: 12/1/12 - 13/1/12 18/1/12 - Home Visit 23/1/12 - 14/2/12 23/2/12 - 8/3/12 9/3/12 - Home Visit 10/3/12 - RAC Callout 11/3/12 - Audi Dedicated Visist.
