  I have a friend who\'s just got a summer job as an agency delivery driver (delivering cars to and from garages all over the country) He\'s seen other drivers at the agency using sat-nav systems that swap from car to car and plug in to the cig lighter, and is wanting to know what\'s available and where from I have no idea, so if anybody has any recommendations, please let me know ta I have to grow old - but I don\'t have to grow up

  Hi All; My other half was looking to buy a Morgan Aero 8, until he found a car called the Marlin Sportster, made by Marlin Cars in Crediton, Devon. He\'s just ordered one based on BMW E36 M3 mechanicals. I mention this only because I believe firmly in supporting smaller companies and when i saw what these guys are producing I could not believe it.   Have any of you found unusual things in s/h cars left by previous owners?. My finds so far have been one gold tooth (which at the moment I can't find as I would like to weigh it in at the jewelers sprapyard).And the other find, after looking to see what was rattling under the handbrake was A 12bore shotgun cartridge.

  We are in the market for a new or nearly new Ford S Max and hoping to get a good price for the older model as the new one is supposedly coming out soon this year. I am not sure however when is a good time to get the discounts - would the dealers be discounting it already now (the formal announcement is not made yet) or after it's formally released?

  Decisions, Decisions... I'm looking to buy a Mini Cooper S, either a late Supercharged (06) model, or the later turbo version. I have driven both examples, and found the supercharged variant more involving, as the sound of the SC and the slightly less 'bloated' interior gave a better feel and feedback on the road.

  I have a 2000 (w) reg 216 auto but it's developed a problem. It jerks violently when stopping and it jerks suddenly when releasing the brake to drive forward....

  Mileage was low and it was around £6000 . I asked if it had been in any accidents and was told that the Polish guy`s wife had knocked the bumper. I nagged the boy to make sure it was seviced by the main dealer to keep the guarantee valid. He takes it in and learns that it needs a gaiter and maybe a gearbox ! No problem, to get those done under the guarantee was worth the £300 he paid for the manufacturer`s service.
