  I've asked to rename the owner on registration document, otherwise I won't buy the car and he's done it online and will wait for new logbook with his name. that said, the logbook he showed me didn't have the V5C/3 part. Can anybody tell what that would mean?   Apparently when you renew the VED, or declare SORN, from June 2004 on, then shortly after you will be reissued with a new V5C for your vehicle, this will continue until June 2005 after which time every vehicle should have a new V5C.
