. While the car started life as a standard production Mini-Minor, it has been modified to rally specification. In fact, it lead the first Monte Carlo Challenge in 1990 until a navigation error on the final day saw it drop back to finish ninth. There are extensive hand-written diary notes of car 60’s historic drive by drivers Shand and Mackley in which they note the darkness of midnight in the Alps with ice on the inside of the windows making visibility difficult and later a furious policeman in Monte Carlo with his hand on his gun watching them lost and struggling and trying to exit a tiny square in the Principality. -

It could fetch as much as £175,000 to £220,000. This record-breaking Cosworth RS500 dominated the Group A 1990 BTCC season with lead driver Robb Gravett behind the wheel. For the long distance two-driver races Robb was supported by Stig Blomqvist at Donnington and the late and Mike Smith at Brands Hatch. Now it is being publicly offered for sale for the very first time after being in storage for 20 years. -
'House find' 1928 Bentley restored 27 Nov 2017 (News)
After resting for more than 50 years it was moved to the Medcalf’s West Sussex works to be sympathetically restored. The engine still wears its original lead seal as fitted new in 1928, as well as its original finishes. The interior wood and gauges were cleaned and the car also sports original leather features such as the sump guard and spring gators. -
Judas Priest guitarist’s 911 Turbo for sale 28 Sep 2017 (News)
A Porsche 911 Turbo SE owned by Judas Priest lead guitarist Glenn Tipton is going under the hammer. The car was the inpiration for the platinum-selling album Turbo as well as the single Turbo Lover. Collected by Tipton from the Porsche factory during the heavy metal band’s European on tour in 1985, the 930 series 911 Turbo was specified with a Chiffon White colour scheme, and came with the special SE enhancements of vented rear wheelarches, sill extensions and leather interior. -

. First introduced to the public in November 2015, the 1969 Morris Mini Super Deluxe, affectionately named Margo, underwent a sympathetic restoration to return her to her former glory. Lead by the experts at the MG Owners’ Club Workshop, the work lasted seven months and she was in fine fettle for the auction. Richard Morley, divisional head at Lancaster Insurance, said, ‘Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men with 47,000 men diagnosed every year in the UK and with many of our customers fitting this profile, this project was incredibly important to us. The auction was electrifying and we’re thrilled that Mr Davies was so passionate about being Margo’s new owner that he travelled all the way from Wales to Birmingham, and back again, in one day to be there.’ Mr Davies, Margo’s new owner, said, ‘As soon as I saw Margo in the press I knew she would be a perfect Christmas gift for my wife. -

Frankfurt Motor Show 2015: Next-gen Kia Sportage launched 15 Sep 2015 (News)
While the new Sportage retains Kia's traditional styling cues, including a ‘Tiger nose’ grille, the new model is radically different to the outgoing car, with a bluff nose and large, bold LED running lights the most obvious changes. Wide rear wheel arches and a tapering window line lead to slim LED tail lights, which are linked together by an illuminated strip. Inside, the cabin gets a complete overhaul with more high quality materials and a new infotainment system, with a large colour touchscreen dominating the dashboard.
