Definitely preferable to a finance agreement at a dealers, as a loan will have a much lower rate of interest, and will make it possible to take the full cash amount to the dealer and haggle the price down. We then had all the finance documents and the dealership order form emailed, all now signed and ready for car to be collected on Thursday.  Anyways, today a advisory warning comes up on the dash, that the stop start function is inactive, looking at the possible reasons, it's either most likely batter or sensor related.

  I only have the part ex value of my Note which is about £9000 maximum so I know I'm limited to car options in this budget. I am not in a position to get finance or a loan so it's the car part ex value only. Needs to be petrol and preferably 1.2L. Would consider 1.6L if necessary. Trying to keep road tax and fuel costs as little as I can! The only thing I've found is a few Nissan Juke's which I'm not adverse to but fancy a different make if I can.

    I have had a look at a few cars, Kia Cee'd, Hyundai i30, Ford Focus etc however I am concerned about the reliability of 3 cylinder 1 litre engines after reading some posts and articles, can anyone put my mind at rest? I am planning on keeping the car a while so I will be financing it myself.  Can anyone recommend anything else with model and spec - tech wise I'd like it to be upto date with newer cars so something from 2017 onwards would be better.  Thanks in advance.

  I have searched for a topic related to this but can’t find one. I’m realy hoping someone can help. Myself and my wife have two cars, both on PCP finance that we are trading in this week for a new Renault Kadjar. Both cars had a little negative equity but the dealer has rolled that into the deal. So two part exchanges for one. However, since agreeing the deal three weeks ago the settlements for our current cars have come down by a total of £500.

  I checked the car for outstanding debts, beeing stolen and such and it comes out that is clear of any trouble, scrapping, exporting, financing issues and that the last V5 issued for the car is the one i am actually holding in 1988. Now the part that of the V5 i have been given, still has the area whinch i can fill in as the new keeper and return to DVLA to notify them(section 1), but what worries me is the fact that when i checked the plates with DVLA they say that no Road Tax has been paid for the car since...1993!!!
