  I seem to rememeber in the dim and distant past a discussion about air-con bacteria and sprays to get rid of the bugs?, did anyone give this a go or can anyone tell me the best product to try, er indoors' motor has started to hum a bit, suspect its the air-con as she swears blind she hasnt spilt anything.

  My five year old Scenic has just started leaking water into the front passenger well after a hot journey with the air con working at maximum capacity. The air con still seems to work very efficiently.If this is condensation dripping off the condenser unit, how is it getting into the passenger well? Is there a drain tube which can get blocked or come loose?

  Just this morning - cold but no colder than any others recently, I got into the car, started her up and hit the air con along with the fan and heat settings. Then noticed that the air con light was slowly flashing on and off. Air con seems to be working as it cleared relatively quickly but nothing I could do short of turning off the fans would stop it flashing. can't find anything in the manual about so wondered if anyone on here could help?

  Can any one suggest what I should have to pay to have the Air con regassed? I assume that this is the issue as even when air con is on and at its lowest we still get warm air!   just come back from town,in my mates car, and he had the heater in "meltdown" mode. i noticed that he also had the air-con on as well, and asked him why? (i always thought air-con was to chill the car interior in summer). he said that its on all the time in winter,cos it dries the air,and helps stop the (damp)carpets and seats from going mouldy. can this be right?

  I have a 2004 Mondeo Diesel and I have bought a can of air con gas to re-charge it but where do I connect it? The line I can see near the washer bottle has the correct shape connector on to that on the air con bottle but it is bigger so won't fit. Is there a second connector somewhere?
