  also, based on the mileage im doing, and the cash i get. its around the £1000 mark, i guess, £300 from work and £700 odd pound for petrol/diesel. which is going to be best now then? that puts the bmw out the window for sure dosent it? whos gona want an 03 plate bmw with 100K miles on it next year? thats if i can buy one now with 50K miles on. found a 51 plate midnight blue 530d seMan 44K miles fbmwsh saloon for £15K sat nav and beige leather. how much is that gona be worth in a years time with just under 100K miles on?

  If I buy the car I will be the second owner for in return for a £250 discount. I am I being taken for a ride? In addtion, the car I'm looking to trade is a May 03 BMW 325Ci with 10,000 miles on it which I paid £24,000 for last May. The VW dealership, who have a sister BMW dealership next door who would sell the car, have offered me £16,500 for it. I've done some research on the net since Saturday and it appears I should be expecting nearer, if not a little more than, £20,000.

  New tax code for 2003/4 has landed on the doormat. Although I chose my BMW (company car) with the new tax rules in mind, I hadn't noticed the fuel rules were changing too and the numbers are all a bit scary now. The car is a BMW 318i Touring Auto with a few extras (leather seats, integral child seats, CD x 6, extra air bags) the CO2 figure is 195.

  Driving along the A45 just outside of Coventry today when an unmarked BMW 320 estate flashed up with a message “do not overtake” blue and red square lights started to flash. All the traffic slowed and followed this car for 3 miles. The Beemer then pulled off and displayed “thank you” in the rear screen, random!

  Thanks for the stress free experience guys, had a  management light on my bmw 320 d 2011 used other garages who charged me and still didn't fix the fault. Thank you for your patience as I didn't want to get ripped of again. Will definitely recommend my family and friends

  Could some kind soul please explain to me the advantages (if any) of low profile tyres and how they differ in performance, durability, safety etc from 'conventional' rubber. I ask because a neighbour has recently acquired a fairly venerable BMW 5 Series and it looks as though he is driving on the rims of his wheels.

  I nominate my Wife's elderly Peugeot 106 1.4 diesel.Not got stuck so far and leaves behind all the BMW's and Mercs stranded at the roadside. Light,simple and most of the weight on the front driven wheels. Is this the best formula?

  Driving N bound on the A34 just now I saw a new Mini on a transporter, with the rear side windows covered over with vinyl, and the logo of Hampshire Police on the vivyl and a Police Community Support Officer sticker on the rear bumper. Fashion victim or what? Are they being sponsored by BMW?

  I want a nice car for the occasional long run and holidays. Having considered Lexus LS, Audi A8, BMW 7 series I have come to the conclusion that a nice CLK in a strong colour below 100k miles would be best. But which one and what should I be getting for £10k? Thanks

  Now I'm no fan of Merc's, but this one is even worse then their normal offerings, considering the good looks of the BMW I think they are on a hiding to nothing with this one, much like Ford did with the Scorpio.

  bme se coupe for a day or 2. looking everywhere, but cant find. dont want to borrow one of a bmw garage, as it will be one of there demos, ie: a 54 or 05 plate. im looking at a 51 up to a 03 plate ones. and they dont want to lend me one thats for sale. any idea's people?
