Can anyone please tell me WHY i only get 20 MPG according to the computer out of this BMW Diesel engine. With Auto Gearbox. Its done 88000 miles with a FULL service history. Many Thanx

Unless its running like a dog or emiting large ammounts of smoke, I would say your computer is telling you porkies. The only accurate way to test it is to fill the tank to the brim then do the same again and work out your average mpg.

I am having similar results - 20/25 around town and 27/30 on long trips. I also suffer from extremely low power at low revs - do you have the same problem.
