  The seven-car shortlist for the Car of the Year competition has been revealed. The finalists are the Citroen DS5, Fiat Panda, VW Up, Range Rover Evoque, Ford Focus, Toyota Yaris and Vauxhall Ampera. Fiats tend to win. It doesn't look a very exciting line up to me.

  Can anyone tell me how to put a code back in to a Blaupunkt radio cassette that is in a Citroen van?The serial no. is BP1760w9154690.I don`t have the unlock code but even how you go about it when i`ve got the code would help.I think it is only a three digit no.

  The thread on the best diesel engine got me thinking as to what is the engine most used in different cars/ The Vw 1.9 diesel comes to mind as it seems to power everything from Polos to Passats and there Seat and Skoda counterparts but I should think some of those Citroen engines are well spread.

  I have a 2003 Citroen Dispatch (a recent purchase). I'm giving it a service, but I cannot work out how to change the fuel filter. It's Hdi engine with Bosch injection. Can anyone describe how to get the canister open please?

  Is £1300 a sensible asking price for a Citroen ZX Aura 1.9TD 93K with 150 000 miles and in reasonable condition (lots of reciepts, everything works) ? It is a private sale from someone who claims to have followed the HJ suggested service schedules for cars, doing most of the changes themselves.

  I'm keen to get a diesel auto as my next car - trouble is - I'm not sure if they're being produced by anyone. The only make I can locate having this spec is a 1995 Citroen Estate. Are there any others ? If not, is there just no call for them or is the combination of a diesel engine and an automatic gearbox just a bad mix ? Robin
