I'm surprised I'm the first to find this - or aren't I? http://forums.mbworld.org/forums/showthread.php?s=23bbef2cd21304f41d37de2f21b9e558&threadid=53061&perpage=10&pagenumber=1 I think HJ/da Mods should add official greets from the UK, seeing as everyone is now jumping on the bandwagon! Nothing like free publicity -

Cheap engine oil 26 Sep 2003 (Forum)
Thought people might like to know that I was at Carrefour (big hypermarket) in Nice (S. France) last week and picked up their special offer of 7 litres of fully synthetic 5W50 oil for petrol or diesel engines, costing 22.25 euros (= £15.50 approx.). You may like to check to see if this is available in other branches of Carrefour. -

40 years on.. 15 Oct 2001 (Forum)
Does anyone want to share reminiscences about student transport? I was thinking about Swansea in the early 60's, we were driving around in a Jaguar SS 100,(£80) Fiat Topolino, Austin Big 12 Convertible,(£45) etc, all bought for a song and taken for granted at the time..talk about 'wasted on the young'! Mazda MX3 28 Apr 2001 (Forum)
I am currently leasing a Mazda MX3 Auto. The lease ends in July and the company have offered the vehicle to me for £8200. It is an S- Reg and has just over 31,000 miles on the clock - I have had it from new and it has been serviced on a regular basis. Is this a fair price to pay or should I try to get them down in price? -
Volkswagen Golf V (2004 - 2008) - 105TDi - the first 30/90 (months/k miles) 21 Mar 2008 (Forum)
Er, sorry to disappoint, but the just the exterior temperature sensor failed (replaced swiftly under warranty), and one sidelight bulb that was working intermittently. That?s it. Nothing too drastic in my opinion, although when the temp sensor?s ever more pessimistic readings finally reached ?42degC, the heater unit computer decided that whatever the interior temp may be, the incoming air surely needed to heated to max? -
Buying a used car, looking for advice or opinions 14 Jan 2023 (Forum)
I am looking at a 2012 XJ Supersport (not sure about the XFR as an alternative seems to have less kit and maybe a bit more cramped inside). the F10 era BMW M5's (looks to be a bit behind the XJ in terms of kit but possibly sportier to drive?) Also the 4.0 V8 M3's (E90 E92) but not sure how they are for space. Then a selection of AMG Mercs the E63 and C63, some with the 6.3 and others with the 5.5 biturbo. -
