Suzuki Vitara - Buying a car off gumtree - am I being scammed? 15 Jul 2024 (Forum)
This process is getting dubious and a simple request for a test drive gets ignored, instead I'm getting put in touch with an auction house, for privilege to sign-up for a "free" 7-day membership. Can I just ask if this is a scam, or a business-as-usual way selling a car these days? Have I perhaps missed any red flags early on this process? -
Any - Possible accident scam 9 Feb 2011 (Forum)
I am sure that the Audi was already damaged and that there will be a claim on me, supported by false statements. Has anyone a similar experience?
