  • Citroen Xsara Picasso - Clunking Noise 17 May 2020 (Forum)
Hello. I have a Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.6 petrol 2010 plate. In April i noticed a clunk whenever i steered moderately/ hard to the right, ie slow speed turning and parking. To my untrained ear it sounded like the driver-side suspension.
  • 2005 Citroen C4 1.6 SX Automatic - Air noise and spongy brake pedal when pressed 11 Jun 2019 (Forum)
Hi All Wondering if someone can help me with an issue that has developed with my Citroen C4 since changing the rear brake pads. I thought it was going to be a relatively easy process to change the rear brake pads on my C4, like many other cars I’ve done in the past. I got to the point where the caliper piston had to be pushed back to allow space for the new pads, but realised they had to be rewound back in.

  • Picasso c3 v CMax V Juke - Changing car 14 Sep 2016 (Forum)
Looking at the following contenders Nissan Juke petrol model 2011 35,000 miles £7500 Ford Cmax titanium, 2011, 37000 miles £7900 Citroen Picasso c3 2012 and 2013,  24000 miles both diesel and Petrol £6000 to £8000 several to choose from.  All are comfortable, and have easy access especially the Citroen's, what we also need is reliability and economy, the Fabia was good at these, I am also not sure on the diesel options with the Citroen and the DPF thing.
  • Citroen C5 - Diesel stalls when slowing to a stop or idling 21 Jul 2016 (Forum)
Our Citroen C5 diesel (2008 estate) is stalling regularly when idling (or when slowing to a stop). It's been in to the garage 3 times, and we've had the AA once - we've spent almost £3,000 so far (!!!) and the fault is still there.
  • Citroen C3 - Key and starting problems 9 Sep 2015 (Forum)
Hi, I bought a citroen c3 2006 very recently. Its my first car and I am a bit clueless. Well Im having a bit of a problem. My key fell apart so the metal bit and the plastic bit are completly seperate. If I try and use them seperatly the key wont turn in the bit to turn the key on.
  • Citroen Berlingo, Drive the Deal, Carwow - Problems with online brokers 15 Jul 2015 (Forum)
I need a 7 seater now that my parents have given up driving so I can take them, their friends and us all out together. I settled on an updated Citroen Berlingo Multispace with the Family Pack as it is cheap to buy, cheap to run and has sliding doors which are easier for ageing parents to use. In June I saw an offer on the HJ website from Drive the Deal for the exact car I wanted at £10495 so I placed an order.
  • Citroen Xsara Picasso - Dash warning drivers door is open and not locking 16 Feb 2014 (Forum)
Hi, I have a citroen xsara picasso 51 plate and today i've been having a couple of issues. It was fine first thing this morning, but after 20 minutes of driving there was a warning light on the dash saying the drivers door was open.
  • Citroen Xsara Picasso - Help, Please... 6 Jun 2013 (Forum)
Hi all, I purchased a Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.8l Petrol 02 plate with 87,000 miles on the clock about 5 weeks ago. I paid £1295 from a used car garage. Now it wasnt perfect, a little scruffy it had no parcel shelf in the back and no interior mirror, and the passenger wing mirror was cable tied on and the front drivers fog bezel was missing, but i thought thats ok i can do these bits myself.
  • Citroen Xsara Picasso - Grinding Noise on Accelaration 30 Jan 2012 (Forum)
Hi folks, I'm about to get rid of a Citroen Picasso and celebrate wildly in the street, possibly without clothes to make the celebrations more memorable.   The reason for my unrestrained pleasure in ditching this nightmare of a vehicle is because it's cost me a small fortune in the short time I have owned the car (over twice the original purchase price in 18 months) and I never want to see the car again.
  • Citroen C3 (2002 - 2009) - 05 1.1 Central Locking Issue 12 Dec 2009 (Forum)
When I press the unlock button on the key fob the car makes an unlocking noise and the lights flash 3-4 times in quick succession but without the doors actually being unlocked. Have taken it to a citroen dealer to have keys re-programmed via computer but apparently this did not work either. If you are in the car and press the lock button on the key fob it locks you in the car and you can't get out.
  • Jazz or Berlingo? 27 Jul 2009 (Forum)
I also have a child about to go to college, so suspect I may need a van! The advantage of the Jazz is that you get everything included, whereas Citroen seem to want you to add everything useful as extras (like an alarm, and side airbags). I can get the Berlingo XTR for not much more than the Jazz - although Honda do the full scrappage deal, whereas (and this might just be my local dealer) Citroen seem very reluctant to offer scrappage - they claim their "discounts" more than compensate for this - but leave me with the issue of selling my old car.
  • Citroen - 05 2.0 Strange noise, goes when clutch is pressed 1 Jul 2009 (Forum)
Dear all, A few days ago I bought a used Citroen C5 2.0, petrol, 55 reg., 05-08 model, with 26,000 miles, 5 speed manual. I am worried about a noise, and I would appreciate some advice. The noise changes with engine rev and gear. It happens in all gears.
  • Citroen Xsara (1997 - 2004) - 99 1.9 Obscure electrical gremlin when braking - 1 9 May 2009 (Forum)
Disconnecting the brake-fluid level sensor has no effect - in fact, the brake warning light doesn't come on to indicate a fault doing that. I do appreciate that it's (a) a Citroen and (b) it's got wet, but I'm wondering if anyone has seen this problem before? Thanks very much for any input - it's my sister's car! Dave.
  • Citroen Xantia (1993 - 2000) - 95 1.8 Big bang smoke and oil..... 3 Sep 2008 (Forum)
there is also something that appears to have broken off and is hanging down in between what i assume is the cooling system pipes attatched to a rubber hose or wire sheathing. there was one other hose that was not attatched up near the top of the hoses that i pushed back on easily but had no clip to hold it in place. Someone has said that this assembly (hard plastic type box with the citroen logo on the left of it) has blown the pipe offcausing the problems??? he did say a strange this part is the (word begining with P and five sylables but i cannot remember it at all)!! and i am obviously concerned and now car less!!
  • Chinese Citroen ZX problem... 12 Mar 2007 (Forum)
Hi all, Greetings from China! I'm here visiting a friend who has a Citroen Fukang - this is what was, in an earlier life, the ZX. It looks exactly like we remember the ZX, save for a couple of Chinese badges on the boot. Under the bonnet lurks a 16 valve 1.6 litre petrol engine.
  • Citroen C6 - Tow-car par excellence 12 Oct 2006 (Forum)
After overtaking a line of trucks I pulled in and settled back to 85 and let him past. Up he steamed and it emerged that he was a Dutch registered Citroen C6 towing a substantial caravan. I tailed along behind him for a while and he was cruising at 95mph, occasionally edging over the ton. I settled back to my 85mph cruise and let him get on with it.
  • Citroen Dispatch HDi under fueling?? 23 Jun 2006 (Forum)
I'll try and keep this post 'simple' as I haven't had any luck in the past getting an answer?? I can be more detailed if required. Citroen Dispatch Hdi (94bhp with intercooler), 128,000miles. It feels very down on power compared to 1.9TD models, after adding injector cleaner, or on a long run (often towing) it can get better (will hold 70mph uphill rather than slowing to 55 when towing 1300kg trailer/car combo).
  • Citroen ZX 1.4 - Running temperature?? 20 Dec 2004 (Forum)
Hi, I have just bought a cheap, low mileage, good condition (apart from a dent in the rear qurter panel) Citroen ZX for my brother from another family member. The problem is, while driving from Chesterfield to Hertfordshire (about 140miles) I noticed that the temp gauge seemed to move up and down with speed.
