Nissan Qashqai - Sensible alternatives to Petrol Qashqai? 21 Jun 2016 (Forum)
It is time for us to get a younger replacement for our 1.7 petrol Honda FR-V (which we are keeping on as a second car). I am expecting to finance using PCP and would prefer an arrangement where the total cost over three years is under £10k. Due to a relatively low annual mileage (no more than 10k) and multiple short trips (typical journey in the week 5-10 miles) it needs to be another petrol. -

How to sell a car on credit 3 Dec 2003 (Forum)
I would be replacing it with a car costing £2K or less so a trade in at a dealer is unlikely as there aren't many dealers round here that deal in old and new metal from the same forecourt. So that leaves a private sale, what are the pitfalls of trying to sell my car with finance outstanding? Would the buyer have to settle the finance with Ford and pay the difference to me? Obviously the credit would show on an HPi check. Any general advice about how I would go about this would be appreciated. -

Ford Europe Update 16 Apr 2019 (Forum)
Cmax and grand Cmax - no more factory orders, Very little UK stock available. He is hoping Ford will offer a good finance offer on the Tourneo Connect and Tourneo Grand Connect to compensate for the loss of the models as they still get a lot of family buyers wanting a spacious car. Galaxy and S-Max - says they still sell a few but mainly to fleet and private buyers , rare to sell one on finance. -

Honda - All Japanese final three what car 17 Mar 2009 (Forum)
The disadvantages is that effectively locks away £12k and we'll be looking to move house towards the end of the year. As you can imagine between the cars and the finance I have 101 things going through my head and I'm trying to juggle so many factors, hence the plea for an objective opinion. So if you have any thoughts on the choice of car or the method of financing then please let me know Thanks Douglas -
