  This is mentioned in FAQ but the link to the supermarket website is defunct. So, have any more manufacturers (especially VW Group) given ther "approval" to this blended bio fuel? It is hinted elsewhere that some 100% biofuels are OK but why the problem with the 30% blend?

    Having had consistent consumption over the last three months, I checked my figures and found no error.  I would have to be way out on mileage or fuel used to get such a large discrepancy. It struck me as strange that this would happen on two cars almost simultaeously.  My question is, would moving to the supermarket fuel affect fuel consumption?

  As reported in the local press this week, the following occurred at a supermarket in Surrey. Diesel was delivered into their Unleaded tanks. Later admitted that \"we did have a problem with the diesel as well.\" I assume that was Petrol delivered into the Diesel tanks. \"customers who had diesel put into petrol cars will be fully compensated but if it happened the other way round it is different\" \"If more than 20 per cent of petrol was filled in to a diesel tank then it would cause damage to the car\" A customer complained after getting fuel that \"it sounded really weird\" so went to their garage who told her not to drive it.

  In this morning's Telegraph there's a brief analysis of what El Gordo can do to put things right since receiving a good kick up the sporran the other night. On fuel costs, the plan is apparently to try to force OPEC to increase production. Lowering fuel duty is dismissed on the basis that the reduction might not be passed on at the pump.
