• Mk4 mondeo - Dash cam mw radio interference 15 Mar 2017 (Forum)
  I bought a cheap dash cam recently (£16) from a service station. It works ok, images not too bad for the price. My post is about radio interference on mw. On CD or FM or Bluetooth its fine but in mw I get so bad crackling and hiss I can't have both on at the same time. I have aftermarket Alpine head unit. Anyone have similar problems or a possible solution?

  Hi, after reading some other messages in the forum I to have the same problem. I tried following the steps of holding down buttons 1 and 6 to access my radio code for my ford transit 6000CD player. Upon my findings here are the numbers that I found, FB050208, SWP14C044, BL020405, FDV2007, VO25557 and SWP1-6CIT. Please can someone help me access the code for my stereo as I a, at my wits end driving in silence!

  hi i was wondering if someone can help me, i am gettin my car back from the garage and they have asked for my log book for the car radio code but i cant find it as i am sure it is in the car but they say its not, anyway how do i get a code without the log book, can i also put the code in myself when i get one, hope someone can help thanks

  I have had a 2006 3 series touring for the past 4 years, for the past few months the radio reception has become very poor if I travel just even a few miles from my home. I know that the rear demister makes up part of the aerial and as we have a couple of dogs I was wondering if they could have dislodged anything.

  Ever since I bought my volkswagon golf gt 05 every now and again (sometimes months apart) the radio spontaniously turns itself on usually in the middle of the niight. I now have to get this sorted as my neighbours are starting to take offence at being awoken at night! I have telephoned the dealership and they say it probably requires a software update but would have to charge for this as it is out of warranty.

  Daughter has a 1998 VW Polo with the standard fit Sony R/C - with the removable facia. It has suddenly lost all radio reception, except for static and very faint stations in background. Cassette works fine. It seems to me that the aerial connection might have fallen out of the back of the set - it has a aerial mounted on the rear roof.

  I have ordered a mini disk player for listening at work, recently today I started to think about the possibiltiy of using the mini disk in the car. The radio/ cd player I have is a Renault standard CD player option which I picked. I am wondering if anyone can help me how to wire in the mini disk so the music can be played through the stereo. The car model is a 2002 model Renault Clio.

  I am looking for a second opinion from anyone out there. I have the climate control unit, the cassette/radio beneath it and what looks like a sizeable gap beneath the cassette/radio that looks wider and almost as deep as the cassette/radio. Can't see why a single slot CD player will not fit in this gap. Has my local VW garage got this right?

  The car is a mark 4 fiesta and the stereo a 5000 rds so the big breezeblock sized thing. Anyway - these Ford radios have the feature of being able to remove the radio preset buttons 2 - 5 revealing a flashing LED as a theft deterrent and thus rendering the radio inoperable. Because I've become the new security conscious person in the house I've started removing the buttons from my car and my dad's Focus which is when I discovering this problem.
