  Hi, Does anybody know what has happened to the "Edition" models of BMW 1, 3 and 5 series that were mentioned on this website and elsewhere recently? On the 3 series it offered metallic paint, bigger wheels, and leather for £750, and looked very good value. They appeared on the BMW car configurator at the beginning of March, but they have now gone, along with any mention of "Edition" from the BMW website.

  Hello, I've seen a BMW 330d on a y reg estate 96000 full main dealer history and just had a full service and checked over by an independent BMW specialist. I've read the reviews by HJ which don't read well. Can anyone advise if I'm wasting my time buying it its up for £4000 grand but is in excellent condition.

  stating the obvious - being fwd, an Audi will get thru tricky weather conditions whereas rwd BMWs, Mercs, Lexus etc will struggle. I know the quantities of snow we've got don't happen often, but rwd is mostly useless when it does. For me, it's no contest.
