    Gates keep authorising small amounts of work and I still don't have the car.  An "engineer" is coming from Belgium (or Germany - the story changes) to inspect it this week.

  My neighbour across the road from me objects to me parking in front of her gate. This is not a driveway but just a garden gate. It is single line parking only as the road is very narrow so I have to park across the road from my property. Sometimes there is room to park either side of her gate but not always.

  A friend of mine has a 54 reg Mistibishi pickup which has an error code showing for the waste gate (sensor). He noticed this first with a lack of power, when under full load either going full chat up a hill or pulling a trailer with a mini-digger. So it would seem something is causing the waste-gate to dump the gas - where does the 'signal' come from on these (intake pressure, fuel pump), before taking it to the dealer is there anything a competent DIY'er can do to repair or confirm the diagnosis further on this?

  Ive just got a 2001 mondeo it came with only 1 key - I can get a new one for the reasonable price of £21 . BUT . the handbook says I need 2 keys to code another and my local dealer says Io need the car "booked in" at a cost of nearly £100 to get the new key coded. Is there a way around this? Mick

  In the last two weeks the tail gate glass on my 07 X type estate has started opening when I start the car. It does not happen if I only unlock the drivers door but does if I unlock all doors, if I lock the doors manualy before switching on it doesd not happen.

  What is the law relating to stopping (engine running) a car on a one track public road to open and shut a farmers gate that crosses the public road? We had a handbrake failure on a car that was stationary, engine running, in neutral (automatic car), hand brake fully applied on a hill, while the driver shut the gate behind him.

  We purchased this property in September 2017. The neighbour purchased his property in June 2014. The gate has been in situ since AT LEAST June 2009 (earliest photograph available on Google maps website). The neighbour has now demanded that the gate be removed because it is attached to his bedroom wall.

  Would you be interested in a opener that does not need your action to start opening the door/gate? It will be all automatic, sensing the velocity you are approaching home and open your garage just in time for you to drive in. Obviously it will also sense that you have parked your car and close the door behind you.

  Between the A556 and the M6 junctions, on the westbound track there is a small ' slip road ' leading up off the hard shoulder to a wooden ' farm ' type gate. There is also a slip on from this gate. In all my hundreds of trips up and down this stretch, I've never seen this gate open or in use. The gate leads into a very minor lane, not important enough to have a bridge or a tunnel across the M way.

  I'm on the verge of having to replace my garden gate which is about to fall to bits. The current gate locks from the inside of the garden and I would ideally like to be able to open it from the non-garden side as well to bring out/put away the multitude of wheelie bins the local council has foisted upon me.

  Anyway, after the meeting was done, Bill took a limo back to the airport (same day). Few days later Bill received a call from SF Mayor stating, "Mr. Gates I believe you left your Ferrari in SF.
