Ford C-MAX - tail gate lock release. - Anz

would a tail gate release switch from a modeo fit a cmax focus,or are there any other interchangeables that any one knows of,as mine only works when the remote on the key is pressed twice.

There is a rubber pad microswitch above the number plate that releases the tailgate if the car is unlocked.It usually becomes water logged and fails.It may be the same as a Mondeo ,but it would be a lot easier to get the correct part.Why not ask Ford dealer?

To operate the boot release on my 2014 Fiesta,I need to push the relase button twice-it actually has "x2" shown on the remote!There is a button inside the boot handle that opens the boot when car is "unlocked".

Why fit the correct part when there is a world of different ones out there that probably won't work.

But fitting the incorrect part will be much more exciting and could lead to a long post whilst trying to get it working.
