  Renault Extends TV Channel to Sky 2 Dec 2009 (News)
  Renault TV is capitalising on the success of the web channel, launched in March 2009 in the UK and France and recording an average visit time of 15 minutes (just under 3 times that of Renault’s corporate website www.renault.co.uk ). The Renault TV channel, and the renault.tv web channel, are an integral part of Renault’s marketing strategy of which the one of the main aims is to improve the customers’ experience of the brand.

  Fiat Group Automobiles increased revenue slightly – +0.5 per cent – on 2007 to 26.9 billion, based on an annual production of 2,152,500 cars to achieve a trading profit of 691 million. Sales rose in the key markets of France (+31 per cent), Germany (+14 per cent) and Brazil (+9 per cent). Fiat light commercial vehicles (Fiat Professional) sold a total of 408,700 vehicles, up 5.3 per cent. Maserati lifted its revenue in 2008 to a new record of 825 million, up 18.9 per cent, based on a 16.8 per cent rise in deliveries to 8,759 cars.

  Sir Stirling Moss’ Porsche RS-61 is set to go under the hammer 8 May 2015 (News)
  He bought the car and subsequently campaigned it at Historic level in the Le Mans Classic on the legendary 24-hour race circuit in France, and in the USA in his very last competitive motor race.  The Porsche RS-61 chassis ‘070’ which is going under the hammer was delivered new to first owner Bob Holbert of Pennsylvania early in 1961.

  Six hundred of them were consequently called into service to transport 3,000 men, which resulted in France winning the First Battle of the Marne and earned the vehicles their ‘Marne Taxi’ sobriquet. The vehicle on display at the show has been restored especially to mark this centenary.

  The Ferrari California on display at Goodwood features a “bi-colore” roof, with the car painted in Tour de France (dark blue) and the roof and A-pillars in Grigio Titanio (Silver) to echo the tradition of bi-colore berlinettas of the 1950s and 1960s. The car on display in the Supercar Paddock also features host of extra factory-fit options from the Carrozzeria Scaglietti Personalisation Programme, such as diamond-stitching on the rear seats and Cavallino stitching on the headrests.

  This series of victories began at Daytona and continued at Brands Hatch, England, Monza, Italy, Spa, Belgium, on the Nürburgring race track in Germany, at the Targa Florio in Sicily, at Le Mans, France, Watkins Glen, United States of America, and the Österreichring, Austria. However, the season's high point was the long-desired overall win of the Le Mans 24-hour endurance race, a trophy that Hans Herrmann and Richard Attwood brought home to Zuffenhausen on June 14, 1970.

  Big Historic Car Racing Event at Castle Combe This Weekend 2 Oct 2012 (News)
  .  In the race on April 12 1952, sometime playboy Scott-Douglas brought the car home in 5th place in the unlimited sports car race. A varied season of races followed for the XK120 including a 3rd place at Reims, France, with Scot-Douglas's year ending with another sports car race at his local circuit on the 4 October 1952. 60 years later the car will return to Castle Combe along with the iconic Ecurie Ecosse race transporter.
