Good car, average engine, poor dealer experience

This has proved to be a decent enough estate . A few niggles, engine slightly underpowered especially if laden and some water ingress, not significant , but difficult to track down. Bought from TMS Volvo Hinckley who were great. Serviced and warranty work at Bells Volvo , Bedford who were terrible. Replaced turbo to cure a squeak on deceleration, which I suggested was a rubber engine or exhaust bush. It did turn out to be an exhaust mounting. This took more than 7 visits to resolve.
In terms of build quality slightly better than the Mondeo it replaced but nowhere near that of my wife’s similar age (and higher mileage) Honda Jazz
Fuel economy is poor. I’m light footed but you only get decent mpg unladen on a roads and motorways. On country roads, it’s poor.
