Great fuel economy but rusty tailgate!
Very good fuel economy any run over 10miles I get at least 60mpg. Good to drive quiet with a compliant suspension.Big disappointment is rust has appeared on the inside of the tailgate at roof height. The VW dealer doesn't want to know!! Now at another VW dealer who is trying to get a new tailgate under warranty .2 1/2 years old and rust breaking through disgraceful, fuel economy is however excellent provided you have a light right foot.
