Overall reliability
Fast, Fun, Frugal with room for family of five. Not as reliable as VW hype makes out.
My MkV GT Sport 170 is nearly 7 yrs old and coming up to 65k miles. Has been a solid fun little car which is frugal on fuel yet pacy and quick - the ideal mix for Welsh A&B roads. No major disasters but PDF warnings after driving too slow does give you a short panic attack but soon sorted by a brisk run !! £1200+ repair for steering rack scary and seems to be an issue with the 'reliable' Golf.
