absolutely brilliant

Bought locally, non franchise, A&S Motors, who were excellent, no pressure and great service. The car is smooth, relaxing, well made and a pleasure to drive and own. It is very spacious and comfortable. It is like driving a comfy chair it is so relaxing. Only minus points - fuel gauge drops like a stone below half way so not too sure of MPG yet. Not too good in town - much better outside. Steering has its vague moments. I may upgrade the lights in due course. Built in satnav, not up to date - Toyota charge far too much for updates- will keep to Tom Tom. Stereo and heating/ventilation very good. Best car I have ever owned. Boot merits its own postcode. Local Toyota dealership had a look at car as on line it showed a recall - no issues, no tow bar. They gave it a complimentary vac and wash. Top stuff.

As you may surmise, I am rather pleased with my understated Avensis.
