Bought this to use as a company car from father in law. It was 3 years old with 6000 miles only so barely run in. Recently went on a 1200 mile trip to Scotland where we achieved 72 miles to the gallon - and that included some motorways at 70 Plus mph, so very pleased with that. It does suffer from the 'gobbling turkey' sindrome (a noise) from the front engine mount which I understand is a fault with these cars but have not bothered to get it fixed. Engine willing and powerfull enough although some hills do require 'attacking' in order to maintain a decent speed- below 35 mph 4th or even 3rd gear is a must.
Rear wiper is not intermitent which is annoying but overall I'm a convert certainly to 3 cylinders!
