170tdi Elegance 4x4

Still an utterly incredible car.

Last reviewed back in 2016, I still drive this car daily & at over 10 years old & 146k miles, it's still a solid, supremely practical yet enjoyable workhorse. It still hasn't let me down at all, not once, & is still great to drive. The only issues I've had have been the generally poor paint quality resulting in bits of surface rust now, both front door looms have had a couple of snapped wires that I repaired myself, & I've replaced a couple of driver's heated seat base elements, but it's been fine for the last 5 years. It's a very capable & enjoyable car dynamically, precious little of its rivals come close in the real world, I love it. I also have a much newer Audi S3, yet the Yeti doesn't feel outclassed to drive jn comparison or inferior in any way apart from the less luxurious ambience of the more plain interior design. Even so the leather & the interior in the Yeti is still as good as day 1 & very hard wearing as my car's certainly earned its keep. Regular servicing every 10k miles & 100% reliability has been the reward. Great car, can't recommend it highly enough.
