Really wonderful car

I absolutely love this car. Understated elegance with supreme comfort and huge practicality as a family wagon. It is comfortable and relaxing to drive with brilliant technology - literally drives itself with the adaptive cruise control and self-parking features. It is well-suited to relaxed cruising but these 280 4x4 models have the added benefit of savage, almost scary performance when you want it. I will never tire of the noise and feeling when I put my foot down and it is great fun surprising the drivers of less-well-endowed premium German metal who assume they're faster than a Skoda estate, but soon discover that they're not. Of course it would be nice if it did a few more mpg and didn't have the taste for 98+ RON fuel, but economy is really not that bad for such a big heavy 4x4 estate car that performs this well, and tax and insurance are surprisingly cheap, plus my local Skoda dealer is a joy to do business with
