SE 1.2 TSI 86 5dr Hatchback

Straightforward,Safe,Comfortable

This car is as good as any I have had in my 45 years of driving(about 25 of all makes) but,since I had my first car in the late 60s,and we were happy if they just started then perhaps I am easily pleased!It will never light up the eyes of boy racers but gets you where you want to go safely,smoothly and without fuss.It has enormous space within and the boot is simply massive.You get a car bigger than a Golf for Polo money.There are very few niggles the " major" one being Skoda's inability to produce a door seal which does not cover the drainage holes which leads to water retention in the doors but is easily rectified by moving the door seals a little.The engine gives a really good show for 86PS reminding me of the performance of a normally aspirated 1600cc.The ride has improved on this model (I had a Toledo previously).My wife loves it and finds it very easy to drive.
