Skoda Yeti 1.2 Elegance

Smooth,comfortable, well built, and considering the power/weight ratio performs well.

I thought the clutch was light and possibly the reverse gear could be lower,when reversing on some of our Devon steep hills .The front windscreen pillars, especially drivers side, had a "black spot.When purchased it had 12000 miles on the clock. It now has 24000.I am having the cam belt changed and also the water pump for peace of mind.I previously had two Skoda Fabias,but at the time my wife found it too low after having "Chemo" and the Yeti footed the bill well.Found all my Skodas to be very reliable until the 1.6 deisel had particulate problems.Our local Skoda garage in Plympton were very good as to the repair.I am now 87 and spent most of my working life on marine and motors.
