Great EV experience

Personally I wanted a car which was not a Tesla. Not a fan of the model 3 with the single large screen in the middle and wasn't sure of the quality control being offered.

Had no issues at all with the Polestar. Range in winter is less than stated here, I would say you should plan for a range of about 200 miles in winter on motorways, going up to about 240 in summer. The rapid charging is painless as long as the charger is working (Ecotricity are particularly bad), but the charging network will only get better over the next 3 years.

I got this as a personal lease and so in 3 years I'll be handing it back, but I'm sold on the brand already and will be looking to see what they are bringing out in the next few years.

Car has 3 year warranty, service and roadside assistance included so its going to be maintenance free for as long as I've got it. Insurance was £300 cheaper than my previous car (BMW 540i) and has no road tax, so I think I'll be between £100 and £150 a month better off. Also because pretty much everything is included (only paint colour and the performance pack are extra cost) its an easy choice to make at the moment. The headlights deserve a special mention. Full Matrix LEDS (£1,500 option on BMW and Audi) and they are simply outstanding, best lights I've ever seen on any car!

A no brainer in my opinion and an excellent showcase for EV cars and the Polestar brand
