Good car but too many electrical niggles

Comfortable, roomy, good on fuel, quiet. Well matched engine/ gearbox combination Very poor grip in snow, depite having traction assist, grips better with ESP turned off. Dash rattles. Could do without the electric handbrake, it sometimes takes several attempts to release it.
Electrical gremlins spoil the car. Central locking unlocks and partially opens the tailgate if any passenger door is opened, or at random, have to stop the car, switch off and attempt to lock the car to release the tailgate, open it and then close it properly. Imobiliser went faulty, headlights came on and wouldn't go off. Disconnected the battery to reset it, then learned that there is a special routine to disconnect the battery, WHY??? ( I know it needs to be done to prevent damage to the BSI, but surely something as common as disconnecting the battery shouldn't require this rigmarole) Got away with it, but follow the routine now. Trip counter resets at random, display panel changes at random, cannot get some of the information screens any more (fuel consumption info) it dissapeared when I changed the clock in the spring, clock went forward - display went backwards. Radio reception is VERY poor, it's not rocket science to design a radio that can receive national radio programmes. Leaking rear washer tube, staining headlining. Not sure the spec is as printed, front seat doesn't fold flat, wing mirrors don't fold in for example. I fitted a tow bar with dedicated electrical wiring, wiring has to be 'switched on' by dealer, again WHY??? Paint appears to be 'soft' scratching easily.
I owned a Peugeot 406 in the 90's, lovely car again let down by electrical faults, which the dealer never resolved. I thought they would have improved, but it appears not.
