1.6 Visia Auto 5dr Hatchback

Spacious, easy to drive. Good alround mini MPV

Reasonabley priced, very easy to drive and to get in/out of.
Masses of leg room in the back, much more than a Polo.

Only gripes...

1.6 Auto averages about 36-38 mpg.

Screaching auxillary belt on start-up in damp conditions. Dealer advised it should be changed even though the car was less than a year old and had done less than 12 K. Dealer (Sunwin/Coop Keighley) refused to pay. Screaching came back after just 4 weeks of new belt fitted. £7 tin of spray on belt dressing much better solution.

Winter traction poor on the standard fitted Bridestone tyres.
Had fitted Vredestein Quatrac 3s 185/65 all season tyres - a vast improvement, particularly on snow. Tyres are little nosier than Bridstones especially when cornering though.

Heavy corrosion of engine mounting nut/bolts - where water collects runnig down from screen etc.
