The best car I have ever had for a golfer and for economy, and so nippy

Well where do I start. its a long story but I will try and keep it short. I was hit by a foreign 40 ton lorry driver and , did 6 rolls and landed 40 foot in a forrest off the m6 needless to say I got through 19 cars in 2 years, i felt safe in nothing. Then i felt safe in a trusty BMW e46 until the snow, which made it impossible to get to work as the bmws do not like the ice.

I wrote to honest john and said I do 1300 miles a month, need something economical, roomy, safe, big enough for my golf trolly and clubs if need be, etc, but very good seats as have a very bad back he was brilliant and gave me a short list. mazda 2, new ford, nissan micra if i could get past the looks, and i did say the fiat 500 ,

The mazda garage was "if you are going to sign on the dotted line to day love , you can have a test drive if not my collegue would like to finish early, so i suggest you draw up a short list" I replied you were on it now you are not,(probe not all mazda dealers are like this just perhaps on a bank holiday.

The Ford garage, did not even know where the bonnet catch was and i had to describe the engine to him ( as i used to motor race, i was not impressed)

When for a test drive in the micra, this model has sport seats (great for back, inbuilt sat nav, Blue tooth , ipod connection , front fog lights, well made, back seats slide forward so enough room for golf clubs and power trolley together , but hated the out side. very roomy and felt safe,

I went for a test drive in the fiat 500 loved it, fun but was worried about the space , motorway driving and could not hear the indicators .

I was stuck loved the cuteness of the out side of the 500 but not practical , i then went back and saw the micro fantastic they had one of the last to be made in sunderland in white look brilliant that was it , i have loved it i have had it just 6 months done over 7k no trouble, really really nippy, sat nave brilliant, tells you if trouble ahead , bluetooth out of this world mp3 and android phone conection the least i have got is 47mpg petrol that is and i do combined every day . i am clad i listened to honest john and brilliant in the snow. and i went the extra mile to a company called polesworth garage who have a large stock of micras and had 3 free years servicing. Brilliant
