On average a nice little car

Bad:

Not as sporty as my Focus and not quite as big, handles more like a Golf.

I find the pedals and steering overly light and the gearbox is very notchy getting reverse, 1st or 2nd, especially when cold.

It's not bad looking although as the rear lights are lower down than a focus, the boot opening isn't as wide.

Could do with a taller 6th gear as it's revs are no lower than my Focus 1.6 TDCI was in 5th when cruising on the motorway.

Not quite as many dealers around and about as say Ford has.

Fair bit of road noise, nowhere near as quiet as latest Golf.

I miss the Focus quick clear heated windscreen.

Good:

Reliable so far and 5 year warranty gives a warm fuzzy feeling.

Rear seats have isofix points and 3 proper seatbelts.

Smoother engine than my focus 1.6 TDCI, drives more like a petrol than a diesel.

£30/year road tax.

ipod connectivity and plays mp3 CDs.

Chain cam engine.
