Love the drive - not impressed with the reliability

The car is great to drive and is roomy for family holidays and transporting family and friends.
However, I have had major issues with the electronics and alarm systems. Frequent messages saying that the boot or bonnet is open (triggering the alarm), alarm going off for no apparent reason, windscreen wipers working independently even when handing the car keys over to the service desk...the list is endless. Service desk can NEVER find the fault. Ford are no help whatsoever! Boot catch jammed locked day before going on holiday so had to leave at garage whilst away. Very heavy on tyres which are very expensive to replace. Need a reliable car for ferrying children around and fast losing confidence with this one. Planning to replace next year and will almost certainly avoid Ford...
