Economical and appealing family workhorse
I drove from Rome to Milan recently, most of it at 65-70mph and then got very impatient for the last hour or so and blatted along at 90, air-con on full in the 35 degree furnace. With every seat bar one occupied and a full boot i still managed 64mpg, having plummeted from 68mpg when i almost put the foot to the floor.
Handles well, plenty of space, and very easy to live with.
Only thing missing that would help the mpg further would be cruise control, it would help with my impatience and bored right foot an awful lot.
