It's a true ford and I love it

BAD:
-it's a wide car, and a bit tricky to park due to basic PAS (1.4/1.6 doesn't have EHPAS)
-gearbox is great but you need to work hard in city to keep ride quality
-lot's of road noise
-electronic throttle makes car to have lag when you floor it
-80 mph in 5th on motorway is horrid, a lot of engine noise, wind noise, tyre noise, you name it (at least you can't fall asleep)
-to drive like maniac throught bends you really need to know the chassis, it is a hard car to drive on limit
-lot's of body roll on 15'' tyes if you don't know how to control it
-eats tyres like hell if driving fast throught bends (i guess every car do the same thing)
GOOD:
-lot's of space
-cheap to buy
-cheap to run
-fuel consumption is nothing special but for such heavy and big car like focus, 1.6 litre engine without Ti-VCT, direct injection and other modern stuff it's OK
-engine is good but it's dead untill 4500 rpm which is normal for NA engines
-fantastic on country roads
-gearbox is great, it's joy to change gears on high revs
-styling inside and outside is BLAND - a true ford
-materials in cabin are all you need them to be

Car is basic focus + leather steering wheel and cruise control, tyres are 195/65 15 inch steel wheels, no ESP, no EHPAS, basic CD player (ford 6000CD) so no Mp3, no sport suspension.
sounds like c*** but it isn't, well for me and my brother it isn't. it's cheap, spacious and it works like a clock, all you need from car.
Let me explain about handling, it goes like hell throught bends ONLY if you know how to drive it. For example I can make it go fast but my brother goes like 10 mph faster through the same bend and theres no body roll at all, but when i'm at the wheel car is all over the place, so it's hard to drive perfectly this car, it's all about chassis but i just don't get it. I guess thats what Ford people wanted to do with 2011 Focus, make it fast whoever is behind the wheel. because you just feel when theres body roll and when car is neutral, it's fantastic car to drive, you just feel absolute everything!

So, it's a TRUE Ford, fun,cheap,practical.

Update, one more thing, starfield has name some bad points in his review, these I'm familiar with

2. the delay or lag due to the drive by wire throttle is appreciable, you have to be adapt to that
5. some rattle coming from the rear (probably tailgate)
6. a bit wide
7. rear visibility is poor (as are all new cars nowadays)
8. road noise is appreciable
11. Car shakes excessively at start (more pronounced at cold)
12. Handbrake is useless on steep hills, it does not hold the weight of the car.
13. Inside courtesy light is at the front only, the back is left in darkness

UPDATE
with omv100 fuel (its like premium fuel - in short - the most expensive available) i managed 41 mpg - thats driving on open road and city, no highway
