Water ingress in Parking sensor connections - Park Assist Malfunction on delivery
I took delivery of this car in Dec 2017. Was so excited to get it after waiting since March when I placed the original order.
The car has been in the garage twice now with issues with the Park assist system malfunctioning since the day of being delivered.
The local dealer advised that water is getting into the connectors and has therefore had to re wire the location of the wiring loom.
Not a good new car experience and the issue has been raised to both the lease company and Ford as a possible manufacturing fault.
This aside the cars new look, gearbox and drive is still as fun as my old one, however I do think build quality has suffered in a rush to get these out!
