Overall reliability

A good quality hard top convertible car with a lot of extras as standard.

I brought the car about three months ago (August 2017). I have had Two problems with it, a fault with the Roof working and I had to have the Starter Motor replaced. The dealer I brought the car from paid for having the roof fixed, they had already paid to have the Brakes Disc's and Pad's replaced all round(nearly failed the MOT). Franchised Dealer in my area could not fix the Roof fault! Took it back to the dealer I had brought it from who new someone who could and did within two hours.

Pity it does not have a Sun Roof as the VW EOS has, plus for the size of car Boot space is limited when roof is down (EOS is better), lose space because of Rear Wheel Drive!

Car looks to be Quality inside (unlike the EOS) and has lots of extras as standard and is nice to drive, Seats/Suspension are softer than previous BMW's.

Good MPG overall 45 mpg - 60 mpg on Manual Gearbox.

Has Heaters under front Head Rests which are great in keeping your Neck Warm.

Lets hope it is Reliable after not a Brilliant start.

Car when brought had done 47000 miles approx.

I now have had to replace the Starter Motor and a Boot Lid Hydraulic Strut!

German Engineering what has happened to it!

I have now had the car for nearly a year, and since the last problems the car has run ok without any more faults. Plus just passed it's MOT.

I have upgraded the Overall Rating to four stars, changed the Fuel Economy down to Four as well!

The Stop/Start system does not work that well in cold weather!.

Jan 2019 took the car in for the recall on the EGR, it was checked and found to be working ok. No Leaks or Carbon build up. If it does go wrong in the future not sure who is going to pay for it!

The service was free as the car had a service pack on it up 60000 miles or five years.

The car has now done 52000 miles all working ok except stop/start works sometimes!
