An absolute joy to drive

The highlights are the engine (known as B58) and gearbox (my first ever auto box and I am totally converted). I have enjoyed every single mile I have driven this car, it is smooth and refined and responsive. The car is comfortable for 4 adults once the rear seat passengers have installed themselves. Ride is excellent (given the 19in wheels and sports suspension). Handling is good and reassuring but doesn't tempt you to push it towards the limits. With the rear seats folded down it is extremely capacious.

Only downside - it is not especially well insulated - wind noise is surprisingly prevalent.

For a car which will do 0-60 mph in 5.0 seconds the fuel economy is very good - it will achieve 30ish round town in light traffic, 32 on a spirited drive through the countryside, 36 on a long A road run and once did 44.9 on a steady motorway run mainly at 50mph. The low overall average quoted below is due to my short and very hilly commute to work every day.
