2018 AUDI A4 2.0 TFSI S TRONIC S LINE SALOON SEMI AUTOMATIC

Huge disappointment - will be happy to hand it back.

Although well built and finished, the suspension ride on this s- line at town speeds is horrible. It somehow manages to crash into every hole in the road and at the same time wallow boat like. It improves at speed but is still very firm even in the most forgiving comfort mode.
The sound system is dire; I could not believe it was not considered faulty- baseless, and virtually mono, irrespective of settings. The worst sound of any exec car I have ever had (Merc E, BMW 3 and 5).
Auto can be quite lumpy at low speeds and power delivery can be delayed.
Fuel efficiency is good and driving like a saint can get 50mpg.
And just to say I’m not anti Audi per se- we also have an A3 cabriolet auto which is a delight in comparison.
