1.4 TFSI 150ps SE 4dr

My A4 exceeds my expectations ,its smooth , quiet, comfortable and a pleasure to drive, silky gear change and responsive engine.

My car was an ex demo, 1k on the clock and was a good price which I was pleased with, the salesman certainly was more professional that most I have encountered in the past. The car is a pleasure to drive once I found the steering dynamics to suit my driving requirements. A very positive gear change which is a credit to German engineering, an engine which is very quiet and responsive when required for overtaking. The vehicle has an electric drivers seat which is easy to find the ideal driving position and very supportive even though there is not any lumber support. The dashboard is well laid out and easy to read as is the infotainment equipment . The interior has high quality materials , nice use of aluminium to add a touch of class and the finish on the control knobs must be from the luxury fitting dept of the A8, real class! The aircon and fan switch are fiddly, control knobs would be easier to use but are aesthetic to the dash design I guess. For a petrol car I am pleased with the overall fuel economy , averaging 44mpg, on slower 50 mph roads 55mpg is easily achievable with a light right foot.
The only gripe I have is that at the 2year service the main dealer quoted over £400, but I complained and was discounted to £350 which I though was a fair compromise, however £60 for a cabin filter is a rip-off for what is essentially a paper part!
