Why won't SEAT assist with an ESP fault on my 4-year-old car?

My car was out of warranty on 17/3/09 and has had three dealer services and my last service was at Kwik Fit. I had this problem diagnosed by Kwik Fit and got in touch with SEAT about a 'good will' gesture....
