Are these add-ons to my new Honda Jazz good value for money?

Are these add-ons to my new Honda Jazz good value for money? The first is a Honda extended guarantee, including road side assistance, for £460 for one year. This is after the 12 month warranty which comes with the car initially. The other is 'Lifeshine' treatment for paintwork, upholstery and side external glass for £349.

£460 buys you fairly expensive peace of mind for 2 years, though, since a Jazz is one of the most reliable cars on the road you probably won't need it. Autoglym Lifeshine is worth having, but costs the salesman less than £100, so he can sell it to you for £200 and still make himself £100.
