Should I buy a 2000 Renault Clio with 'tippexed-out' details on the V5?

I am about to buy a Renault Clio 1.6 RT automatic (2000) but I have a couple of questions. When I inspected it today there was no reservoir for the automatic transmission fluid and no dipstick. The seller also tried to locate them but couldn't, even after consulting the car's handbook and online data advice. Is the fluid sealed? Also, when I asked to see the service history of the car he stated there was none, apart from the recent MOT that he himself had carried out. When he showed me the slip I would need to send off to the DVLA, the section for the buyers/sellers details had all been 'tippexed' out - he said this would cause no problems with the DVLA. Is he right or should I be a bit wary?

Modern autos don't have dipsticks. Surprised that a Y2k doesn't, though. But regarding the tippexed V5C, walk away and never come back.
