Which car is most reliable – Kia Venga, Renault Captur or the Hyundai ix20? I do about 6000 miles a year and need something that's reliable, with an automatic box and a petrol or diesel engine. Can you help?

The Venga is exactly the same as the ix20. Same Slovakian factory. Same production line. Petrol better than diesel for 6000 miles a year. The Hyundai/KIA are reliable four-speed Torque converter.

The Captur has an efficient dual clutch, like a VAG DSG, which is only available with the 120TCe engine and is likely to be more economical than the Venga/ix30, but not warranted for as long (unless you pay extra to extend the warranty).
