Buying a used Honda CR-V - should I go for petrol or diesel?

I am thinking of buying a used (2010 model) Honda CR-V manual. My annual mileage is 9000 a year, with regular 13 mile motorway runs and the occasional 120+ long journey. Should I go for a petrol or diesel model?

The Honda CR-V 2.2 iCTDI up to November 2009 (and maybe a few later reg) has no DPF. The 2.2iDTEC from November 2009 does. 2.2iDTEC don't seem to give a lot of trouble, but long term maintenance costs are bound to be a lot higher than the weaker 2.0 iVTEC because of the increased complexity. If you want a diesel auto it has to be the 2.2 iDTEC.
