Should I take out an extended warranty on a Ford Fiesta?

I bought a Ford Fiesta EcoBoost and have been offered extended warranty. As this is a new engine, would this be wise or should I not bother?

The Ford Fiesta model from 2008 has been fantastically reliable. Hardly any problems reported in car by car. But the 1.0 EcoBoost, while excellent in the Fiesta, is still an unknown quantity so I would seriously consider extending the Ford warranty. Check that it is a Ford warranty, though. Because you only get 12 months Ford warranty with a new car. The remaining 24 months are Ford dealer warranty.
