My daughter bought a used Smart Fortwo with inaccurate mileage and a number of problems - what should we do?
My daughter bought a Smart Fortwo Cabriolet (used) which was said to have been serviced and MoT'd before she picked it up. They gave it an advisory saying that they couldn't MoT it properly because of some panels underneath the car. There are two bald tyres on it and the oil doesn't look right, and the mileage was written down 30,000 out. What do I do? She should never have been sold the car. She is a 19-year-old who works 16 hours a week at minimum wage. She didn't live at home at the time and hasn't got a clue, and we are left to sort out the finance now (£5000 over 4 years: £8000ish ). Any advice please?
