Where can we get GAP insurance online?

We are about to purchase a new Hyundai i10 automatic but, rather than let the dealer sort the GAP insurance, we should like to arrange this ourselves via the internet. We remember that this subject was covered in an earlier column, but cannot remember what you recommend.

You could try ALA for GAP insurance. They are likely to be cheaper than buying it via the dealer. The reason is that car salesmen make very little commission from selling cars, so they need to sell other products on which the commission is much higher, as much as 200 per cent for GAP insurance.
